Men's Ministry at Becker Evangelical Free Church
If you would like to grow in your faith this fall, email Pastor Patrick.
He'd love to meet with you and help you figure out what your next step might be
to help you know Jesus and follow his teachings and his example.
TRAINING TABLES - Men's Bible Study
6 week studies in 2 Timothy will begin the week of September 17th. Training Tables meet for 1 hour and follow a format to dig deeper into the Word of God together. Men, Bibles, and coffee... Good stuff! This fall we will launch 3 groups: Wednesday @6AM at McDonald's, Wednesday @6:15PM at the Middle School, and Saturday @8AM at the church office.
CONQUER GROUP - The Battle Plan for Purity
Join a 10 week Conquer Group to view and discuss the Conquer Series DVD and talk about the impact and addictive nature of porn and online activity. There is a $30 cost to this but you can come check out the first session for free to decide. We'd like every man in the church to experience a Conquer Group together!
A Conquer Group is perfect for:
- Dads raising kids who have screens in front of their faces... learn how to help them stay healthy!
- Men who want to support their brothers who struggle with porn.
- Men who want victory with their own temptations.
- Fathers who want to help their sons understand their sexual self.
- Fathers who want to help their daughters understand themselves and the men they'll eventually date.
Groups will meet Sundays at 6:30pm, Tuesdays at 6:30pm, and possibly Wednesday nights at 6:30 as well.
Men's Ministry Mission Statement
Our Men's Ministry exists to provide opportunities for the men of BEFC to connect with other men, grow up in Christ, and serve others as an expression of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We would like to help men in three areas:
We want men to have plenty of easy, non-threatening ways to get together with other men to begin building relationships.
We want men to be challenged to learn God's Word and grow spiritually. We want to help them learn who they are in Christ. Small group studies are often offered and many meet together in personal accountability groups.
3.Go Out and Serve.
We want men to get active in doing what God wants them to do; using their spiritual gifts and humbly showing the love of Christ to people in Becker and around the world. Men have done projects like shingling, helping someone move, packing food at Feed My Starving Children as well as travelling to places like New Orleans for relief projects.
